Anna Sui To Release Forbidden Affair

Anna Sui Forbidden AffairAnna Sui’s latest creation, Forbidden Affair, should be hitting stores this month and while this fruity floral with its notes of lemon, blackcurrant, redcurrant, raspberry and pomegranate sounds like a veritable fruit salad, it’s the use of Cyclodextrin technology that got us interested.

Cyclodextrins are produced from starch and a derivative of Cyclodextrin is used in Febreze – as in the deodorising spray. It seems it’s also used in some washing powders to give that sustained fragrance release effect. It all sounds very scientific but this could be the start of something new in the world of perfumes as this technology “allows the immediate first fresh topnote impression to ‘re-burst’ over and over again for an ongoing sparkling fresh fragrance experience”.

Anna Sui Forbidden Affair will be available as a 30ml, 50ml and 75ml eau de toilette.
